This project involved design of a 48 acre public park for the Town of Sunnyvale, Texas. Freeman-Millican provided schematic design, budget preparation, and construction documents for proposed park facilities including tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, a playground and picnic pavilion, a lighted concrete parking lot, a fishing pier, concrete and earthen trails, and landscaping with an irrigation system. Utilities were designed for a future restroom and site lighting. To date, the first phase of the project has been built including a half-mile loop hike-and-bike trail, and half of the parking lot.
